Governor Matt Mead announced that he's joined the Complete America Alliance of States, with goals of significantly increasing the number of students who successfully finish college. Governor Mead has assembled a team with members from the Cowboy State's community colleges, the University of Wyoming, government sectors and employers to help flesh out the plan.
In a media release, the governor said Wyoming can do better at preparing students for college. If more students successfully complete college, he said it means a brighter future for Wyomingites - and a better prepared workforce.
Each year, Mead and his team will set new goals and provide progress reports on how the goals are being met.
