First Light Children's Center has hired Katie Christopherson as Assistant Director and Angela Brugger as Family Resource Coordinator, as they approach a scheduled opening date next month.
Plans are to open doors to the new First Light Children's Center in mid-January at the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority's facility at 366 E Brundage - formerly the Hand-In-Hand Childcare Center.

Christopherson most recently served as Assistant Director for the Christian Community Placement Center in Salem, Oregon. She holds a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Western Seminary and focused on Elementary Education and Speech Communications at Western Oregon University.
Angela Brugger has a degree in Social Work from the University of Wyoming and her Masters in Social Work from Walla Walla University. She has worked at Northern Wyoming Mental Health, the Department of Family Services, and the Child Development Center, among others.
Perkins says they are getting closer to reopening the center.
