The first baby of the new year was born on Thursday at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Kellan William Erickson was born to Rita and Nick Erickson of Sheridan at 2:55 pm.
Little Kellan weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz. and is 18 inches long.
Kellan has three brothers: Jalen, Jarren and Luke Kysar and two sisters: Brittin Kysar and Abrielle Erickson.
Since Kellan was the first baby born there in 2013, Sheridan Memorial Hospital has provided the family with a case of diapers.
