This story is a bit ironic, given that we are looking at heavy wet snow falling in the region. That being said, however, the final snow pack report for the season just came out and shows we are still well below average for our area. Conservation Technician with the Sheridan County Conservation District, Jerry Forster, gives us the details.
Another thing Jerry adds, is that winter precipitation has changed, not just in quantity, but in quality as well.
Jerry says it is not clear if this winter warming is long term trend or just something we have seen in recent years.
