The Sheridan County Fair Association Board of Trustees discussed capital outlay projects at their meeting Thursday that will be submitted to the Sheridan County Commissioners for the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Most of the meeting centered around debate on a redesign of the road through the fairgrounds as well as the parking areas. Facilities Director Sharon Nadeau.
Nadeau will work with Sheridan County Public Works Director Rod Liesinger to obtain some detailed dollar amounts associated with a new road and parking areas at the fairgrounds.
The Board also approved to move forward with the request for proposal process on backup lighting for the grandstands.
Nadeau said that they need to work quick on getting the project going and completed, as the first summer event using the grandstands will be the Monster Truck show on June 12th.
