Coming up in July of 2012 is the Eighth Annual Big Horn Mountain Festival in Buffalo, and early bird tickets are now on sale through January 8.
Lynn Young, Co-organizer for the festival, explains why they offer tickets this early.
The festival will be held July 6, 7, and 8 at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.
The weekend will feature world-class musicians performing and offering workshops along with a band scramble. The festival will also host the Wyoming State Mandolin and Banjo Championships as well as guitar and fiddle contests. Food, refreshments and arts and crafts vendors will also be on hand for the weekend's events.
Young said that another popular offering that began last year will be brought back for this year's festival.
Tickets are available on their website and also in Buffalo at Joy Appliance and Video, the Sports Lure and the Chamber of Commerce or in Sheridan at the Wyo Theater box office.
The cost of the early bird ticket is $65 for the three-day festival, which is nearly 25% off the gate price.
