The Sheridan County School District 2 Board met for their January meeting last night, and received their annual Audit Report from Jim Dodson, CPA with Porter, Muirhead, Cornia and Howard out of Casper.
It was a good audit overall, despite two areas of non-compliance. District 2 Business Manager Roxie Taft explains.
Taft gives us an example of what she means by suspensions and debarments.
She adds that the District had a large bid on one of their ERA grants and had never reached that threshold before, which resulted in the non-compliance on the audit. Jim Dodson, however, was not concerned and the District passed the audit for the year.
We'll have more from the District 2 Board meeting later today.
