In a media release issued by the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, members of the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office and the Northeast Enforcement Team arrested 46-year-old Sheridan resident Troy Houston, for two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance/ Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
A search warrant executed at Houston’s residence at 5004 Coffeen Avenue on Tuesday June 15th, resulted in the seizure of roughly one ounce of suspected methamphetamine, approximately three ounces of suspected marijuana, digital scales, approximately $816 in U.S. currency and other suspected illegal drug related paraphernalia.
Houston was transported to the Sheridan County Detention Center where he was held pending further court proceedings. The arrest of Houston was the result of an ongoing investigation conducted over the past four months by the Northeast Enforcement Team. Further arrests and charges are anticipated.
The Northeast Enforcement Team is a regional enforcement team supported by all law enforcement agencies in Northeast Wyoming and comprised of law enforcement officers from the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, Gillette Police Department and the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office.
