On November 1st of 2011, the Sheridan County Commissioners temporarily closed Dana Avenue from 13th to 15th Street due to safety concerns. Sheridan County Public Works Director Rod Liesinger says that due to the success of the closure, the County plans to continue the closure of Dana Avenue.
Liesinger explains that closing the road was all about keeping the public and motorists safe.
Liesinger said that if any residents in the area have any questions or would like to provide any feedback about the closure, they can call the Sheridan County Public Works Department at 674-2920.
