The Sheridan County Public Works Department is updating the current subdivision and zoning resolutions in the County. One of the possible amendments may create a new type of subdivision. County Planner Mark Reid explains.
Creating the conservation subdivision category was one of the top 5 priority recommendations in the Sheridan County Comprehensive Plan.
One of the things not covered in the plan is the issue of public works fees charged in the County. Commissioners approved increases in some county fees earlier this week, but they were not able to address all the proposed fee changes.
The County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the new fee schedule at their meeting Wednesday. Copies of the proposed changes in the schedule can be obtained at the courthouse.
