The Sheridan City Council held a special meeting Tuesday, where they approved a resolution allowing the City to participate in Phase Two of the Wyoming Rural Development Council's Community Assessment Program. Phase One of the assessment took place in early 2004, when 850 residents were interviewed face-to-face about needs within the community. Councilor Ryan Mulholland says that a lot of information was gathered in Phase One of the assessment.
Mulholland explains what Phase Two will entail.
One question that was raised during the special meeting was if there would be any inherited costs to the City.
Planning Director Robert Briggs said that the City's application to the Wyoming Rural Development Council would be submitted this week, and that they would have a more definitive schedule in about a month in regards to when Phase Two of the Community Assessment would begin.
