The Sheridan City Council held a special meeting over the noon hour Thursday, where they approved the 1st reading of an ordinance regarding the bond issuance for the Sheridan Commercial Park special improvement district. Sheridan City Clerk Scott Badley.
The City owns 3 of the 22 lots within the commercial park and has paid off their share of the assessment. Badley explains that this action along with others lowered the cost of the project.
The special improvement district consists of providing drainage and street improvements within the park. The Council will hold another special meeting over the lunch hour this coming Monday to consider the bond issuance on 2nd reading.
