At the Johnson County Commission's last meeting, the commissioners discussed numerous problems with the new building, and decided they needed to meet with representatives of Groathouse Construction to address those issues.
Commission Chair Smokey Wildeman met with John Griffith from Groathouse and conducted a walk-through last week to point out the problems the county wants fixed.
Wildeman said the meeting and walk-through went well.
Wildeman said there weren't any major issues with the building, just painting, trim and finish work, mainly “cosmetic” things, along with some cleaning that needed done, but he did point out one rather important fix that was needed.
Groathouse Construction is in the process of completing the projects and so far the county is pleased with what they are doing, according to Wildeman.
