The Community Holiday Dinner in Sheridan is a tradition that has spanned nearly two decades. When the first dinner took place in 1991, it served 385 people. Those numbers have grown substantially over the years as now the dinner averages well over a thousand. One of the organizers for the event, John Meyer says that along with the good food on hand, there will be some good entertainment as well.
This year's Community Holiday Dinner is this upcoming Sunday December 6th at the Sheridan Holiday Inn. It will run from 4pm to 7pm. Although the dinner is free, a ticket is required, which can be obtained at various agencies throughout Sheridan.
