The Sheridan County Commissioners acknowledged receipt of the courthouse transportation analysis that was conducted by the consulting firm of Fehr and Peers out of Colorado.
While all of the streets and intersections around the courthouse were looked at, it's no surprise that the intersection of Brooks and Burkitt received most of the attention from the consultants. Sheridan County Public Works Director Rod Liesinger.
Since Brooks is a City street, Liesinger says that now the possibility of closing the street falls into the City's hands.
Liesinger added that they would like to get some input from the community by perhaps holding public meetings in the future about the issue.
