
Numerous roads in Sheridan County were severely damaged from springtime flooding this year. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, a component of the Department of Homeland Security have awarded a grant to Sheridan County for disaster assistance and emergency relief. The grant the Commission accepted Tuesday was in the amount of $496,632.13. The state's share of the grant is $93,118.52, while Sheridan County's responsibility is for just over $31,000.
