The Wyoming County Commissioners Association Spring Meetings were hosted by Sheridan County's Commissioners last week, April 25-27.
Johnson County Commissioners Smokey Wildeman, Delbert Eitel and John Gibbs attended the meetings, and Chair Smokey Wildeman said one of the main topics of discussion was how cooperation between the various commissioners, along with municipalities in the state, helped in securing funding for everyone from this year's Legislature.
Governor Matt Mead spoke at the meeting, saying he was also pleased to see the level of cooperation between governmental agancies in the state, Wildeman said.
The theme on everyone's mind seemed to be cooperation for the betterment of all Wyoming citizens, he said.
The next meeting for the WCCA will be their 2012 Winter Meeting, which will be hosted by Johnson County, December 12-14 later this year.
