At their last meeting the Buffalo City Council heard from City/County Engineer Wayne Hill on the status of projects he is overseeing and working on.
The school zone flashing signs have been installed on South Main Street, he said, although the one visible in the north-bound lane was apparently not working at the time of the meeting. He wqas going to have WYDOT look into the problem.
Hill is currently working with the county on renovations at the historic courthouse, now that the circuit and district courts and their support staffs have moved to the new judicial center.
Crazy Woman Square is nearing completion with all workers notified it needs to be completed before December 1st for the Christmas Parade and chili feed that afternoon.
The Sports Fields Complex is also progressing, and he explains further.
Hill also reported that he is working on easements to correct the drainage issue at te Greenleaf Subdivision and has spoken to a landowner to the west of the subdivision that appears to be willing to negotiate an easement for a secondary access for the subdivision through the commercial park west of the Holiday Inn Express.
