The Sheridan City Council approved the second reading of two ordinances at their first meeting of the year, Monday night. The first of which is an update to the city tree ordinance. Mayor Dave Kinskey talks about the modifications.
The City Council also passed second reading of an ordinance that would allow for the lowering of the speed limit on Long Drive. The modified ordinance would not only allow for the Long Drive change but other changes to be conducted by resolution in the future. City Councilor Ryan Mulholland…
Resolution 02-10 was approved, lowering the speed limit on Long Drive from 5th Street to Victoria Street down to 20 miles per hour.
The City Council also appointed a committee to investigate MDU’s proposed electrical rate increase. The City will ask the PSC to move the February 10th public meeting to City Hall. It is currently scheduled at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library.
