Cinco de Mayo turned into Cinco de Cure-o Saturday when the Black Tooth Brewing Company on Broadway in Sheridan hosted a fundraiser party for Sheridan's Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Relay for Life is the major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and Nicole Marron from the American Cancer Society was on hand and tells us why fundraising is so important.
Trivia games, a dessert bar, but one event which got the attention of many was the taco cook-off. Victor Rodriguez cooked up his authentic Mexican cuisine...chicken fajitas. His secret?
Admission to the Cinco de Cure-O party was by donation and the winner of the taco cook-off won part of those donations for their Relay for Life team. Black Tooth Brewing Company also donated part of their sales during the event to the Relay for Life teams.
