For many young ladies, going to prom is a dream come true, but for some, the finances just aren’t there and those dreams are but disappointments. Saturday, Chloe’s Closet, the dream child of Ellen Goode-Neeson stepped in.
Neeson wants to give back what she received when she was going through a tough time in high school.
Shaylyn Smith, a junior at Sheridan High School, is able to go to prom, all because of Chloe’s Closet.
Over 200 dresses, lots of shoes, jewelry, and purses were donated to Chloe’s Closet to help over 20 girls go to prom. But it was invitation only.
Neeson and Chloe’s Closet has been invited to Powell to help with prom dresses there and her hopes are to expand her mission in the next few years.
