Just over $103,000 in grants were awarded last week by the Wyoming Community Foundation to nonprofits across Wyoming. One nonprofit from Sheridan benefited; Children, Horses and Adults in Partnership, or CHAPS, received $6,000 for their work.
Samin Dadelahi, Senior Program Officer with the Wyoming Community Foundation explains what this particular grant is all about.
She says that in this area, the Sheridan-Johnson Community Foundation is a branch of the state foundation. It was the local branch that recommended a grant application that CHAPS submitted.
