Sunday afternoon, the Hospice of the Big Horns hosted “A Celebration of Life” in the atrium of Sheridan Memorial Hospital's Medical Arts Complex.
The memorial service was a time of healing as families lit a candle in remembrance of those who have died, but it was also celebration of their lives. Hospice social worker and volunteer coordinator Cindy Baker.
The holidays can be tough, especially if there has been a loss in the family. Baker says it's important to look back.
For the eighteen volunteers who serve with hospice, it was also a time of remembrance.
The service included a reading of the names of those that hospice has served this past year along with poetry, music and a reading of the 23rd Psalm.
