Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA, is looking to find a new home for their offices in Buffalo, and approached Johnson County's Commissioners at their meeting Tuesday to seek help.
Bobbi Walseth, Director of CASA, and Patsy Jenkins, Coordinator for Johnson County, said their current home in Buffalo was recently put on the market and they are in need of a new home. Their idea is to hopefully find county or city-owned space that could house them.
Walseth explains further.
A government-owned space they could rent would offer more stability, as this upcoming move isn't the first one they have faced, Walseth said.
Although CASA has no specific site or facility in mind, they are asking for help from the county and will approach the city at their meeting next week to seek their help in finding a city-owned facility.
The Commissioners said they will look into a possible facility and help in any way the can to assist them in their efforts to find a new home.
