CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A California pipeline service business plans to open a facility in Cheyenne. Midwestern Pipeline Co. plans to construct plant on a 55-acre site and hire up to 50 workers for manufacturing positions. Construction may start as soon as this spring.
Jack Dubois is company vice president. He says the company specializes in the double joint welding of steel pipe, the application of anticorrosion coatings and other services for the oil and gas industry.
The company intends to relocate its headquarters from California to Cheyenne three to four years after opening the new facility. The company plans to build at an industrial park that has rail service, southwest of the intersection of Interstate 25 and Interstate 80.
