Substantial wildfires have already claimed hundreds of acres across the state this year.
The destruction to private cabins can be extensive, whether it's caused by lightening or a man-made accident. Jon Warder, a fire management officer with the U.S. Forest Service, said cabin owners should keep their propane tanks running on low in case a fire sweeps through.
