Officials and representatives from the various transportation services in Sheridan have been meeting to determine what kind of alternative form of transportation would best suit the community. After compiling the results of a recently competed survey, Sheridan Workforce Services Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Juan Duran explains what's next.
Duran says that the results of the survey indicated that people feel that the south end of Sheridan would greatly benefit from an additional means of transportation.
Survey results also showed that people would be willing to walk to a certain location that would be part of a pre-determined route. Tentative stops would be at or near the V.A., the Hospital, downtown, Wal-Mart, and the Sheridan Workforce Center.
