An annual Holiday tradition will be offered again this year as Buffalo's Meadowlark Elementary School third-graders perform the Nutcracker Thursday, December 1st at the Buffalo High School Auditorium.
Roughly 80 kids will be involved and performing the kids' version of the Christmas classic tale, which has been slightly modified from the ballet, according to Belinda Chesbro, music teacher at the school.
She tells us more about this version of the Christmas story.
The kids will give two performances, a matinee dress rehearsal performance at 1 pm and an evening performance at 7 pm, both at the BHS Auditorium.
Chesbro gives an overview of the storyline.
She also said the performances have become a tradition in Buffalo that all attendees seem to enjoy.
Both performances are free and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend either or both performances.
