The new Buffalo/Johnson County Criminal Justice Center is nearly complete and ready for both the Buffalo Police Department and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office to occupy, but there are a few minor projects that need to be completed beforehand.
In the meantime, both law enforcement entities and the City of Buffalo and Johnson County will be hosting an open house next week to show the facility off to the public.

After the open house, the law enforcement agencies will be concentrating on training on the new equipment, which they have already begun, and getting ready to occupy the new facility.
Wildeman tells us when the move into the new building will happen.
The open house will be on Thursday, September 8 from noon to 9pm with tours all afternoon and evening, and refreshments at noon and suppertime.
