The band shell in Buffalo's Washington Park will be getting some major work done in the coming weeks, if all goes as planned.
City Building Inspector Toby Rhoads told the city council at last week's meeting there was money set aside from 1% funds for the upgrades, and he wants the work completed by the end of May to keep from interfering with events scheduled this summer.
He explained what the scope of work would entail.
The next step will be a pre-bid meeting that all interested contractors must attend. The meeting will be Monday, April 23 at the band shell at 1:30pm.
Bids will be accepted until 4pm April 30th at Buffalo City Hall.
