Ryan Fieldgrove, his family and ranch are featured in this week's episode of “American Heartland.”
The show is a nationally-distributed TV program that is shown on Wyoming PBS stations and on RFD-TV.
According to a News Release from the Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation, the weekly program takes a look at life of farm and ranch families in all 50 states, focusing on positive stories about American agriculture. The families featured on the show have the opportunity (in their own words) to share their diverse agricultural story with consumers and connect urban and rural viewers alike.
The Fieldgroves share a unique concept in weed control on their ranch and discuss other environmentally-friendly ways they continue to ranch profitably but conscientiously.
Fieldgrove and his family ranch in Johnson County, according to the news release. He is president of the Johnson County Farm Bureau, and a former member of the Wyoming Farm Bureau Young Farmer & Rancher Committee. He has just completed his term as state chair of the Wyoming Farm Bureau Agriculture Tax Committee.
