Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery, at last week's city council meeting, gave updates on the current grant applications he is working on for the city.
Montgomery went after a USDA grant for the Southwest Quadrant Infrastructure Project, and met the February 15 application deadline.
WWC Engineering compiled the preliminary engineering report and the NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) requirements, he said.
The Wyoming Business Council Business Ready Community Enhancement Grant application for the Crazy Woman Square project will be submitted by the March 1 dealine.
Montgomery explains the use for that grant.
The grant will consist of a $250,000 grant and require a $125,000 local match.
Also to be submitted for a March 1 deadline is a WBC CDBG Feasibility Study Grant for the old Clear Creek School Building.
The grant will fund a study of possible uses for the school building itself and also present options for implementing whichever plan is chosen.
The grant is for $15,000 with a $5,000 local match, which will be split between the city and the county.
