Buffalo Public Works Director Les Hook made a request of the city counil to approve a 980 work schedule for employees at the waste water treatment plant, explaining the new schedule will give the city better hourly coverage while saving costs.
He explains how it will work.
Hook also reported that the Cemetery Road Walking Path project will start up again Monday, April 16 with the contractor expecting to be substantially complete by April 23rd. Fencing along the Walkway will be installed after that time, he said.
Milling, grading and compacting along Centennial Trail from the truck route west to Michelena's has been completed as of this week, and sand will be applied to the trail with completion expected this week.
Compost bins are also available at the city yard for $5 per month and are available to all city residents through the spring and summer months.
