At their regular meeting Tuesday night, the Buffalo City Council approved on first reading Ordinance No. 1347, which will change City code recognizing a newly-formed Vision Buffalo Commission.
City Planner Zach Montgomery explained to the Council why the Ordinance was necessary.
The reformation of the entities also required some changes to the purpose of each entity, its by-laws and definitions.
After discussions with the Council, other possible changes were brought up that will need to be added at the second reading and then voted on by the Council.
The Ordinance was approved on first reading, and will now move on to the second reading on April 19th. It will take effect if approved after its third and final reading Tuesday, May 3rd.
