Buffalo Public Works Director Les Hook updated the city council on what his department has been doing during the early part of the year, saying snow removal had kept them busy over the Christmas/New Year Holiday week.
Councilman Russ Humphrey asked about an undergraound water main leak on the north side of town, and Hook said it had been repaired.
He explains further.
The leak was near the intersection of Mathers and North DeSmet Avenue, and Hook said ice was removed from the area after the repair was completed.
Hook also reported that the roof on the indoor archery range building across from the city pool had been completely replaced.
