Sheridan Media News Director for Johnson County, Aaron Palmer, brings us a preview of today's Buffalo City Council meeting.
The Buffalo City Council at Tuesday's regular meeting, will review on third and final reading Ordinance No. 1345, which will prohibit the sale, use, possession and offering for sale chemical compounds known as “Spice” and other trade names in the city.
Mayor-elect Randy Dyess explains a change in the ordinance.
Dyess said the City will also seek the help of the State in the matter.
In other council business on the agenda for Tuesday, fencing for yaks near the diversion dam on Clear Creek will be discussed with resident Laura DeMatteis.
The Council will award the contract for building the new city shop and Brook Stromer with States West Engineering will present an update on the wastewater treatment plant and how close the contractor is to substantial completion.
Finally, the council will hear reports from the various department heads.
The City Council meeting will begin at 4 pm at City Hall.
