At their last meeting the Buffalo City Council approved an Ordinance, a Resolution and a number of other requests.
Ordinance No. 1359 was approved on second reading and will update the city's building codes to 2012 standards. The third reading will be at this week's city council meeting.
Resolution No. 1349 allows the city to file a grant application with the Wyoming Water Development Commission (WWDC) for construction of the Northwest Water Pipeline Project and a 500,000 storage tank.
Both were approved by the council.
Also approved was the Mayor's appointment of Tara Hall for a four-year term to the Buffalo Trails Board.
And finally businees owner Laura DeMatteis made a request to have the trees downtown trimmed and cleaned up. She said some trees are growing into buildings or onto roofs and she would like to see them trimmed so they look nice next spring and summer, especially since the new Crazy Woman Square will be open and many visitors will be downtown.
The council approved the request and city crews will perform the work as they can.
