Last week, Angela Jarvis and Rachel McCaughey traveled to Boise, Idaho to take part in this year's RMI, or Rocky Mountain International show.
Last year's RMI was hosted by Buffalo and the Chamber of Commerce.
Jarvis tells us more about RMI and how hosting last year helped Buffalo be recognized on the International scene.
Jarvis said because of Buffalo's positive reputation, it was easy for her and McCaughey to convince the operators to send their visitors to Buffalo to experience what the area has to offer.
Jarvis said Buffalo received an award last fall from RMI , a small globe with the saying “Smallest Town To Ever Host The World,” they are starting to see returns on all of that hard work in the form of new visitors from Europe making their way to Buffalo, with more expected in the future.
Jarvis said they, and the local businesses, are starting to see a return on their investment.
Jarvis will be attending the International Pow-Wow in Las Vegas, Nevada in mid-May, which will give her a chance to pitch Buffalo to more of a world market of travelers.
