Sundance Film Festival winner “Buck” came to the silver screen Saturday night at the WYO Theater in downtown Sheridan.
The movie by first-time film maker Cindy Meehl, tells the story of local cowboy legend and real-life horse whisperer Buck Brannaman, tracing his life from abusive childhood to his successful approach to working with horses.
A long time coming, Brannaman says the movie will offer viewers an up-close look into his life.
It's been said that this is “A movie that , actually could make the world a better place,” Brannaman says it's not about patting himself on the back.
There's a lot in common when working with horses and working with kids.
There's a big difference in right and wrong.
Parents need to remember that making choices also involves making mistakes sometimes.
“BUCK” was the winner of the Audience Award at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
