The City of Sheridan Planning and Zoning Commission approved the final plat for the Bridgecreek Planned Unit Development at their meeting Monday night. The PUD is just north of Smith Street and west of Jefferson Street, and sits on 2.4 acres just east of Kendrick Park. There are a total of fourteen units -- one existing home that has been refurbished, and thirteen new units that will be built.
Developer Paul Del Rossi acquired the land from Whitney Benefits a little over three years ago; he explains his vision for the area.
There will be no primary street access, as the development will be accessed by alleyway only. Del Rossi said that it will be pedestrian friendly, as there will be no garages out front, only low profile detached homes with a front porch. There will be three different designs from which potential homeowners can choose, with the biggest home being 27 feet high and 26 feet wide.
The final plat will now go before the Sheridan City Council at their June 7th meeting.
