Jason Carder, acting Buffalo Police Chief, reported to the Buffalo City Council at their meeting last week that a recent search of Buffalo High School had found no drugs on the premises.
Carder tells us more about the search.
Carder said the search was conducted just before lunch at the high school on Monday, December 19th, and the search went well, with the only problem, he joked, being the kids were upset they lost part of their lunch hour.
Mayor Randy Dyess said afterwards that it was good to see the high school free of drugs during the search, a result that many in the community had been working for.
The Buffalo Police Department conducts these searches periodically, usually at the request of school the school district.
