On April 16th, the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office received a report that a dead body was believed to be located in the Big Horn Mountains, within Sheridan County. Sheriff Dave Hofmeier explains the events that transpired over the last couple of days.
Hofmeier says it may be some time before the remains can be identified.
When asked about the specific location of where the remains were found, Hofmeier replied.
Hofmeier stated that pending a confirmed identification of the remains and notification of next of kin, no further information will be provided.
