The Business Leadership Network works to make it easier for people with disabilities to get jobs, and it also works with those who hire them. As a state-sponsored organization, the BLN wants to make sure business owners understand their rights when hiring those with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Sheridan-Buffalo BLN Director, Janelle Anderson, talked about what that means during Tuesday's edition of Public Pulse.
At 8 a.m. on Tuesday June, 28 the BLN will hold a conference at Sheridan College Main St. titled: "Facts are Stubborn Things - Helping you understand what the ADA is and is not." Anderson said the workshop will do just that.
The Sheridan-Buffalo BLN will offer more training opportunities over the next few months. Call Anderson at 752-2867 with questions or to register for the workshop.
