The Sheridan County Fairgrounds were crowded on Friday night for a night of country music. Bucky Covington and Blake Shelton headlined the show hosted by the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Gold Buckle Club. Several dozen people even showed up hoping to walk away with more cash in their pocket than when they arrived. Dave and Kaci from the Coyote Morning Show were giving away $100 bills for the best signs in the fairgrounds. People were there for a variety of reasons.
Whatever the reason, they all intended to have fun. Opening act Teka Brock warmed up the crowd and it finished with a fireworks display above the grandstands. The events continue this week leading up to the Sheridan WYO Rodeo performances Thursday through Saturday. The official start to Rodeo Week is the Boot Kick-Off held in Kendrick Park tomorrow evening.
