The Seventh Annual Big Horn Mountain Festival took place in Buffalo over the weekend, drawing an estimated 1,500 people from all over the country to enjoy the three-day music celebration.
Festival co-organizer Lynn Young said all aspects of this year's festival turned out exceptionally well.
The festival offers well known bands and performers a chance to play in front of some very appreciative fans and gives fans and musicians alike an opportunity to learn at the workshops offered on various instruments, songwriting skills and learning to play within a group
The festival also hosts the Wyoming State Mandolin and Banjo Championships and a fiddle and guitar contest, and results from those contests weren't available just yet.
Young said although the festival just ended, they are already hard at work planning next year's festival, with the goal of making the festival better every year.
Young said festival attendees are helping make the event bigger and better.
