Grizzly Engineering and the City of Buffalo opened bids on Friday that were submitted to construct the Cemetery Road Pathway Project.
Five bids were received for the project, and Travis Pearson, Land Surveyor, and Jake Wright, Project Engineer, both with Grizzly Engineering, read the bids after they opened them.
The first bid came from Barnum Construction for a total of $54,959.75; the next from Intermountain Construction for $94,040.00; then Fletcher Construction for $89,496.00; Kurt Peterson Construction for $114,758.50; and finally S.G. Welsh Construction for $82,317.00.
Pearson and Wright told those attending they would review the bids and make suggestions to the city council for them to make a decision on whom to award the project to.
The decision on the bid award will more than likely be made at the next city council meeting November 15.
