This Saturday at the Johnson County Fairgrounds will be a benefit for Buffalo's Cynda Robinson, who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.
Donations for silent and live auctions, musicians and others donating their time and talents and a fundraiser dinner are all expected to help defray expenses involved with her fight to overcome the disease.
A number of Cynda's friends have put the fundraiser together and Rhondasue Beeson has stepped up to take a leadership role.
She tells us more about how the fundraiser will help.
The fundraiser will be at the fairgrounds' community building beginning at 6pm with the silent auction.
The live auction will follow with auctioneer Larry Brannion in charge. Festivities will conclude with live music provided by Chuck Belus and the Let 'er Buck Band, with friends Anastasia's Fault and a number of other local musicians helping out as well.
A spaghetti dinner will be available as part of the fundraiser as well.
To donate items for the live or silent auctions or to donate to the cause, contact Beeson at (307) 277-9000.
