Members of the Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention are asking Sheridan County residents for their input in coming up with prevention solutions in the areas of tobacco and the use of other drugs in brief online survey.
Participants will get the chance to select their top three preferences when it comes to how to intervene in what they think causes the use of drugs and tobacco.
You can take the survey by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5.... The survey will be open until 5 p.m. on February 15th.
The information will be tabulated and then used to direct community prevention efforts this year and next year, according to Thom Gabrukiewicz, community prevention specialist with the Wyoming Prevention Management Organization.
Gabrukiewicz says by building strong coalitions within the community, citizens can make a difference in the areas of alcohol, tobacco, substance abuse and suicide prevention. It’s part of a statewide effort to build community wellness through grassroots support of prevention efforts.
