The annual Vespers Christmas Celebration, a popular tradition in Buffalo, will be this Sunday at Buffalo High School.
Local church choirs, bell choirs, soloists, and school and community vocal and instrumental groups will be celebrating Christmas through their musical performances.
The Vespers Service has traditionally been held in an area church, but has been moved to the Buffalo High School Auditorium in recent years to accommodate the larger crowds that attend the program.
Although the program is free to attend, money taken from voluntary offerings during the program goes to fund scholarships for local music students for summer music camps, instrument upgrades, special music lessons, stands or cases.
The Buffalo Music Study Club, organized in 1931, is in charge of the program and the scholarships.
The Vespers Program will be Sunday, December 16 at 5pm in the BHS Auditorium.
