May is Older Americans Month, and the Sheridan Senior Center, the Sheridan Rec. District and the Sheridan YMCA are teaming up for the 7th Annual Senior Health and Wellness Day slated for Wednesday, May 25th for Sheridan County residents age 50 and older.
Senior Center Activities Director, Jane Perkins, outlines the events.
At the YMCA from 8 to 11 am are foot massages by Westview staff, and from 9 to 11 am will be pickleball, table tennis in the Activate Sheridan Room.
At Kendrick Park, Perkins tells us.
Also at Kendrick Park will be tennis, horseshoes, basketball, and card games. After lunch at Heritage Towers from 1:30 to 3 pm folks can participate in Wii Bowling.
Participants in the Senior Health & Wellness Day will also receive a one-week pass to the Kendrick Park Pool and to the Sheridan YMCA.
And there will be drawings for door prizes, including four $25 Chamber Bucks certificates, two $25 Warehouse Market gift cards and one six-month membership to the YMCA. Participants must be present to win any prizes.
